Foods and Accommodations

In remote villages and the mountains, lodging is typically provided on a twin-share basis. The rooms come equipped with a bed, blanket, and pillow only. Likewise, sharing is permitted in the restroom and shower. At the base camp, you might have to stay in tents as accommodations get more basic as you ascend higher in altitude.

Meals are served at teashops and lodges, and they are frequently a combination of western and Nepalese cuisine to suit the tastes of different hikers. The cuisine will all be prepared by a local chef using vegetables from the area, and the flavor will be distinctively regional.

Travel Insurance

When planning to trek to Everest Base Camp with Lobuche Peak or engage in any other adventurous activities in Nepal, it is highly advised that you obtain travel insurance. It involves trekking at high altitudes, which can be risky and physically taxing. In the event of an accident, a medical emergency, a delayed or canceled flight, or lost or stolen luggage, travel insurance can provide financial protection.

Make sure your travel insurance includes coverage for high-altitude trekking and climbing, as well as emergency medical evacuation by helicopter if necessary, when purchasing it for the Everest base camp with Lobuche peak. These activities can be expensive without insurance. Furthermore, make sure that adventure activities like climbing, mountaineering, and trekking are covered by your insurance policy. Last but not least, don’t forget to thoroughly read the insurance policy’s terms and conditions and comprehend its coverage limitations, claim processing, and any necessary paperwork. It is imperative that you bring copies of your insurance policy, emergency contact information, and pertinent documents on the trek.

Guides and porter

It’s always beneficial to get the instruction and direction you need from knowledgeable climbing guides to guarantee your safety, improve your climbing experience, and obtain insightful advice along the way. As a result, using Nepal Holiday Treks and Tours Pvt. Ltd., a trustworthy company officially registered with the Nepali government, is strongly advised. In addition to providing certified guides and porters with insurance, we also make sure they carry the necessary safety gear for the walk and act promptly in accordance with safety protocols.

Altitude Sickness

In the mountains, altitude sickness is frequently experienced by those who ascend to a high altitude too quickly. At high altitudes, your body tries to adapt to the lower oxygen levels and lower air pressure, which can cause symptoms like fatigue, headaches, and nausea. Regarding this illness, stay alert, rest where you are, and notify your friends or guide right away.
