After finishing our amazing journey with a climb to the picturesque rocky hilltop at Kalapatthar for a breathtaking view of enormous peaks, including up-close views of Everest and Pumori peaks, we descended back into lush greenery and tree lines to arrive at the well-known town of Lukla.

FAQs
How difficult is Everest Base Camp and Ama Dablam Trek?
Mt. Everest and Ama Dablam gained international recognition following the successful ascents of the world's highest mountain, Mt. Everest, by Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953 and Mt. Ama Dablam in 1961.
The Everest Hike became less time-consuming and more accessible for mountain lovers as a result of the rapid increase in people's desire to stop at the base camp, the creation of new trekking routes, and the 1964 AD construction of Lukla Airport.
As a result, the trek to Everest Base Camp is now only 130 km long and takes 9 days. Ama Dablam Base Camp is on the route to Everest Base Camp and is much easier to reach at an elevation of 4600 meters, meaning that it takes about 15 km per day, including 8 hours of hiking each day. However, it takes an additional 20 km to get to Ama Dablam from Pangboche.
However, with a few extra days, it is possible to trek to Ama Dablam and Everest Base Camp together. With frequent breaks and rests for tea, coffee, and other refreshments, the trek to the Everest Base Camp begins as a moderately strenuous but enjoyable journey to the base of the towering Mt. Everest.
